Refund Policy

Interviewlary is a sole proprietor brand operated by Omar Wassef .
This Refund Policy describes when you are entitled to a refund for an Interviewlary subscription and how to request one. All payments and refunds are processed by Paddle , which acts as the Merchant of Record for all Interviewlary transactions.

2. Subscription Type
Interviewlary offers one paid plan:

Upon subscribing, you receive immediate access to all Starter features. Because access is granted instantly, refund eligibility is tied to whether that access has been used.
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 Full Refund — 7-Day Window (No Sessions Used)
You are entitled to a full refund if both of the following conditions are met:
- Your refund request is submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date, and
- You have not used any Starter interview sessions since subscribing.
Because the core value of the service is the interview sessions themselves, using even one Starter session after subscribing constitutes delivery of the product, and the charge becomes non-refundable.
3.2 No Refund After Sessions Are Used
If you have used one or more Starter interview sessions after subscribing, the subscription charge for that billing period is non-refundable , regardless of when the refund request is submitted.
3.3 No Partial Refunds for Unused Time
Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a partial refund for the remaining days in your current billing period. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
3.4 Free Plan
The Free plan is at no charge. There is nothing to refund.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email billing@interviewlary.com with the following information:
- The email address associated with your Interviewlary account
- The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for
- A brief description of your reason for the request
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days . Eligible refunds are then submitted to Paddle for processing.
Alternative: You can also request a refund directly through Paddle using the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your purchase confirmation email.
5. Refund Processing
- Eligible refunds are processed by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible.
- Processing time after approval is typically up to 14 days , depending on your bank or card issuer.
- All refund requests are also subject to Paddle's Refund Policy. In cases where Paddle's policy and this policy differ, Paddle's policy governs the actual transaction.
6. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
Technical Issues
If a verified technical fault on our side prevented you from accessing Starter features you paid for, contact billing@interviewlary.com . We will investigate and, where the fault is confirmed, issue a credit or refund at our discretion.
Fraud or Unauthorised Charges
If you believe you were charged without authorisation, contact billing@interviewlary.com immediately. We will work with Paddle to investigate the charge. You may also contact Paddle's support directly via your receipt email.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
7. Cancellation
Cancelling your Starter subscription is separate from requesting a refund:
- Cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@interviewlary.com
- Cancellation stops future automatic renewals immediately
- Your Starter access continues until the end of the current billing period
- Cancellation alone does not trigger a refund; see Section 3 for refund eligibility
